Courtney Burns grew up in Gorham, Maine. She has always had a passion for music. From a young age, Courtney has identified with lyrics and melodies of many artists in many genres, but she fell in love with country music and the stories country music tells.

She writes from life experiences and enjoys the storytelling aspect of country music. She strives to write blunt lyrics that are relatable to audiences who might identify with the stories she tells. Courtney makes frequent trips to Nashville, is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, and collaborates with co-writers worldwide.

Courtney began singing when she could talk. Around age twelve she began singing the national anthem for many sporting events. She continues to do so for professional sports teams and other events. At age twelve she began participating in school talent shows. In 2017, she was a finalist in the Maine Idol competition and earned an audition for American Idol. In early 2018, she auditioned for The Voice. Courtney is currently working on releasing original music and would LOVE for you to go listen to it on all streaming platforms.

Thank you so much for all your love and support! It means the world to me that you have supported me and my dreams! Love, Courtney
